The Areas We Live, Work, and Play!

St. Andrews By-the-Sea: Everything about our town is special, including our status as a National Historic District, one of the oldest and loveliest in the Maritimes. St. Andrews is a treasure trove of beautiful architecture, unparalleled scenery and rich marine life. Today we offer all the features of a thriving modern resort, yet our streets remain steeped in turn-of-the-century charm. History, culture, visual and performing arts, adventure and more await you in St. Andrews by-the-Sea!

Grand Manan Island: Set sail for adventures when you discover Grand Manan Island in the world famous Bay of Fundy. Here you can get up close and personal with puffins, migrating whales, marine wildlife and migrating seabirds on the finest tours in the bay. Our working fishing villages, herring weirs and lighthouses offer a glimpse into our maritime roots. Life on our unspoiled Fundy Island promises to capture your imagination.

Town of St. George: St. George is the centre of the largest aquaculture industry in North America and fishermen are out in their boats long before sunrise, gathering the bounty of the sea. Lobster, scallops, clams, herring, mackerel and Atlantic salmon are all harvested from the cold waters of the bay. St. George is where the river meets the sea, old meets new, and visitors always meet a friendly welcome!

Town of St. Stephen: Looking to slow down and lower your stress levels?  Tired of long commutes, traffic, scary neighbourhoods and huge expenses? Then consider ‘townsizing’ your life! Our town offers affordable homes in a beautiful coastal setting, right on the US border, with easy connections to three major cities with international airports –  a small town community feel, without the isolation of other rural towns.

Village of Blacks Harbour: Our small, friendly fishing village is perfectly positioned on the world-famous tidal waters of the Bay of Fundy. With a population of just under 1000, our strong sense of community is readily evident to visitors to the area… everyone knows your name!  The nutrient-rich waters of the Bay of Fundy have made Blacks Harbour the proud home to several of the most prominent, branded seafood companies in North America, including Connors Bros., Clover Leaf Seafoods Company and Cooke Aquaculture.

Deer Island: Experience an opportunity to simply relax, rediscover peace of mind and possibly gain some “quality time” with friends or family! Come and enjoy our hospitality, taste a little seafood and just plain “enjoy yourself”.
